Calmcare Sensory Singets
CalmCare calming sensory compression singlets are manufactured extra-long to provide sensory input to all of the torso. They can be worn as clothing or undergarments and help children regulate their body and filter sensory information, which enables them to listen, focus and learn while staying calm, and become more self aware.
CalmCare is designed to wear all day, every day to keep the sensory system calm. Reassuring, gentle pressure provides proprioceptive feedback (information received from muscles and tendons, concerning body movement and position).
CalmCare undergarments allow children to wear their favourite clothing (or school uniform) while enjoying the calming benefits and minimising meltdowns. All CalmCare undergarments have special external stitching for a seamless feel, and stamped labelling for children with tactile sensitivity.
CalmCare is manufactured from a high quality, breathable, moisture-wicking, special sensory fabric which is durable and keeps the wearer cool, dry and comfortable all year round.

Please be sure to only refer to the attached CalmCare sizing chart to ensure you purchase the correct size for sensory compression.
Please seek advice from your Occupational Therapist if you are unsure as to whether this is an appropriate product for your child.
They have already allowed for the correct amount of sensory compression, so please use the exact chest measurement when deciding on size.
If your measurement is between two sizes, our recommendation is that you size down, although both will work.
The reason we recommend sizing down, is that most individuals are craving the sensory input to feel calm, so slightly more snug is always a safe way to go. However, if the garment is for a growing child, you may want to choose the higher of the two sizes.
CalmWear needs to provide gentle sensory compression to the muscles to work effectively, so be sure to choose the size within these guidelines.
