We all want life with our Teen or Tween to be harmonious right? What is the key for a good relationship? Communication.

The concept of our Reflections Notepad is to make it more appealing for Tweens and Teens to communicate with you and with themselves.

Reflections allows a safe place for your child to openly communicate with you, encouraging them to have real, honest and respectful feedback. You too, can have a chance to fill out the reflections sheet with thoughts and conversation starters with your child.  

Using Reflections allows you both explain to each other what you are experiencing and what your needs are.

Encourage your child’s ideas and opinions. Positive two-way communication is important when building your child’s self esteem.

Allow important or difficult issues to be discussed without the fear of over-reaction, criticism or blame.

This process can be a great family bonding or relationship strengthening activity.
